Established in 2021

The Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Mental Health (UPFMH) is a multi-party caucus of Members of Parliament dedicated to advancing mental health in Uganda through legislation, advocacy, oversight, research, and partnerships.

The Forum works closely with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, healthcare professionals, researchers, and communities to improve mental health policies and services.

UPFMH believes that mental health is a fundamental human right and an essential component of national development.
